Yes, you may take note the way how the leaves grow, the leaf grow smoothly curving down , you may use color pencil to mark the track . When you color the leaves , the tracking color mark should not be seen . It should improve your painting quality at least 30 pct . Yes, it is right for you to pursue the Chinese painting . Not bad !
Do you see the first painting from the bottom look much better , because the leaves are different forms ( no curving leaves appears ), if you draw another painting for second and third painting with the leaves smoothly curving down , i believe it will just as good .Try again !
