Just be curious about your drawing size .how big ? Are you looking at the 荷花 locus pond and make yr drawing or on a sample drawing done by yr instructor ?
The paper is the size of 14 by 11 cm, student's usual paper size. No chance to do outdoor painting yet. We copy the sketch from the teacher's work, and only learn how to use the colour. There is still a long way to go.
看以下老师的示范，叶子的青色及外形诸多变化，表现出叶子向上张开的一点点力度，而那片枯叶，边沿碎了一些，但叶脉犹清晰可见，是缺陷美的例子。 
这是一位女同学的作品，不错吧？有位男同学没画出来，可能花卉对他没什么感应，但他的黑白素描很好，老师赞美有加。
It is a good trial , on green leaf and at the same time on dried leaf . The color tone has to be set very precisely . It is not easy .
